Your experience with Régine promises to be a relaxing experience with an intimate focus on healthy hair, style, and beauty.Régine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing from Oakwood University. She has also earned an advanced diploma in Cosmetology at Virginia College under the Pivot Point curriculum. She is fluent in English, French and Creole.
Régine's Haitian-American parents always encouraged her to dream big, keep her faith in God, and work hard! Régine admires her parents for many reasons. But their love for Haiti inspires her.
Regine's father, a Civil Engineer, was in Haiti during the terrible earthquake. He joined the relief effort, focused on training construction personnel in Haiti to build reliable, comfortable, and safe places for education, industry, residential, and religious needs. His passion for Haiti inspired Régine to dream of owning her own business and giving back to his home land. Today Régine's family has a home for orphan children in Haiti as well as a private school for under privileged children that Régine and other donors help support.
After receiving her Business Administration degree, Régine decided to pursue solid cosmetology training, so she turned to Virginia college. As a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, Régine was unable to attend classes on Saturday. But that did not deter her from pursuing her dreams of being a cosmetologist. With the support and aid of her instructors at Virginia College she finished top of her class specializing in haircutting, texture, color, and styling.
Upon graduation Régine worked 10 months in a local salon. On February 6,2010 she opened Salon Privé, her very own salon. Never in a million years did she think at the age of 28 she would be holding the keys and lease to her very own salon. When friends challenged its money-making potential, Régine told them to "do the math." Today, she's an award-winning entrepreneur and salon owner. In 2011, Régine was the recipient of the "Emerging Business of the Year" award from The North Alabama African American Chamber of Commerce (NAAACC).
In the words of John Paul Dejoria "Success unshared is failure!" Adding to her resume, in 2013 Régine joined the Paul Mitchell family as an instructor at Paul Mitchell the school in Huntsville Alabama. During her time at the Paul Mitchell school in Huntsville, Régine completed the requirements for certification as a level III color specialist, level II makeup specialist, and level l cutting specialist. In 2017, Régine transitioned to John Paul Mitchell systems as a National Educator.
As a Salon Owner and National Educator Régine's clients know her for keeping their appointments flexible and their hair healthy. Working six days a week and resting on the Sabbath (Saturday), Régine is dedicated to meeting the needs of every guest in her chair in a timely fashion. Prospective clients are always welcome to schedule a COMPLIMENTARY consultation. In every consultation, clients have the opportunity to discuss any challenges and needs for their hair. A game plan is developed with the best techniques and hair care options to resolve any challenges at hand.
Message from Régine:
So many of you have asked me, what 40.6.33 signifies? 40.6.33 is the key to my spiritual, social, and economical success. It comes from the 40th book in the Bible (Matthew), the 6th chapter and the 33rd verse: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33 NKJV
Blessings to you ALL!!! Thank you for the many years of support and encouragement! I look forward to meeting you my future guest and servicing you my current guest!
Love, Peace, and Happiness
Régine
